What is the advantage of the Healthy Smile for Senior Advantage Members program?
The program was designed to make dental care affordable for Senior Advantage members without a dental plan by providing average savings of 20 percent to 50 percent off almost all providers’ standard fees. In addition, there are no benefit maximums, virtually no waiting, and virtually no paperwork.
How do I enroll in the program?
You can either download the brochure, which includes the enrollment form. Instructions for where to fax or send via mail are included in the brochure. You must be a Kaiser Permanente Senior Advantage member to enroll.

How much does it cost to enroll in the Healthy Smile for Senior Advantage Members program?
Costs to enroll are $33 per member per 12 month period.
When is my enrollment effective?
Your Healthy Smile effective date is the date that Group Dental Service of Maryland (GDS-MD) processes your application. Your initial term will be one year from your effective date. If you need to make an appointment before you receive your Healthy Smile ID card, call Customer Care at 1-866-498-7909 toll free for your enrollee ID number.
How do I start using Healthy Smile for Senior Advantage Members?
As soon as you obtain your enrollee ID number or receive your ID card you may contact any of the participating providers and schedule an appointment. You will need to present your ID card at your appointment. The dental office will charge you the appropriate fee for services included in the program. Payment is due to the provider at the time of service. From time to time, certain providers may offer products and services to the general public at prices lower than the discounted prices available through this program. In such an event, the card holders will be charged the lowest price.
